The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. There are local band posters in the rooms which is a nice touch, as well as all the modern design touches. Aveda products in the bathroom also helped! I didn't bother to pack shampoo and what not knowing this. The room was perfect - the bathroom was especially roomy and nice with a clean shower. We were put in a penthouse level room that was on a corner which was great because our room was really open with lots of window space. There weren't any spots out front of the place, so we had to park a bit away to check in. We tried to go into the actual lot, but you need a room key. One complaint was that upon arriving, we pulled into the lot, where we later found out there were spots for loading/unloading/checkin in that people were just parking in. The hotel is really beautiful, clean, and overall just a nice stay. I adored this hotel, as did my husband, and we would definitely stay here again upon returning to Athens. But the desk clerk quickly agreed that it was their fault, and gave me a $20 voucher for breakfast (enough for what we wanted). However, when we went for breakfast, I was advised that breakfast was not included in the AAA rate. Our only complaint was that when I made the reservation over Indigo's central reservation number, I asked if breakfast was included in the room rate, and was told that it was. There is a nightclub on the garage level, but it wasn't open when we were there. Staff were friendly and in tune with the contemporary feel of the hotel. There is no full-service restaurant, just a cool looking breakfast bar (which also has a nice outdoor patio). Parking is free and in a garage under the hotel. Our room had all the comforts (flat screen TV, comfortable bed, etc.) you would expect from a top notch boutique hotel. The "green" touches here are quite impressive, and the hotel reminds me of a modern European boutique hotel. It is supposedly one of the "greenest" hotels in the US, with everything oriented to energy efficiency, etc. The hotel is located an easy two block walk from the lively restaurant and bar/club scene of downtown Athens. The location is easy walking distance to downtown Athens with its wonderful restaurants and bars. This is a belated review-we stayed here back in December (a few days before Xmas, so the hotel was almost empty). I would highly recommend this hotel for events or even for the night if you're in town for a football game. Everyone who traveled from out of state to stay here were very pleased with their accommodations. The club itself is beautifully decorated as were the suites. We had a bar package and we very pleased that there were always at least two bartenders working. The staff went above and beyond preparing the Rialto club for the reception. The excellence began at check in on Friday, the groom and his friends were upgraded to two penthouse suites. Additionally, the groom purchased a suite for his groomsmen for the night before. We had booked their wedding package which included a suite for the couple on the wedding night. We recently held our daughter's wedding reception in the Rialto Club at the Hotel Indigo in Athens.
